Laina Walker started singing at an early age. She was trained in classical by her grandmother when she was eight years old.[3] She performed in middle and high school. During her freshman year at Brigham Young University, she joined Noteworthy, an a cappella group made up of female BYU students. The group appeared on the first season of NBC's a cappella competition reality show The Sing-Off in 2009, being eliminated in the second episode.[4] Laina Walker joined the all-female powerhouse group Delilah for the third season of the Sing-Off. Her group made it to the top six (from 16 groups). She is currently committed to a Major in Music Dance Theater at BYU.[5]
